Our Mission Is Critical

As a national advocacy organization, CRA is dedicated to protecting the rights of premium cigar consumers, growers, manufacturers, and retailers. The threats to enjoying, producing, and selling fine cigars are real.

Pending FDA regulations could cripple the industry by banning walk-in humidors, defacing or covering cigar box artwork and requiring manufacturers to submit blends for “testing” before going to market.

48 states have enacted cigar taxes, with rates up to 95 percent in some states.

All 50 states have some form of smoking ban.

More restrictive legislation is being debated in town halls and state houses across the country right now.
